Okay. So. I’ve gotten some new followers lately and clearly I have neglected to do the obligatory warning post, because one of you has already escaped run away.
My name is Lissa. I am 34, according to my birth certificate. If one were to take an informal poll of my friends, my apparent mental age would range somewhere from 12 to 25. If my mental and physical ages were more in line I would chase Darren Criss like you would not believe. As it is now, I just sort of gaze lustfully from afar and feel like a really pervy lady.
I am a giant goobery dork with little to no capacity for interacting appropriately with others. I have the attention span of a meth-addled ferret. Since I also have the vocabulary of one who crammed for the SAT and has never forgotten the experience, things can get…confusing.
I’ve been writing fic since April of this year. There is a masterlist in the sidebar. I began writing fic as a way to develop writing discipline as a whole and to see if I had the chops to write novel length things that people enjoyed reading. So far it seems that people do like what I write, so maybe one day I’ll do that original book I keep talking about.
I am Klaine-oriented with Blaine leanings. Mostly I write PG stuff but I’ve wandered into R and NC-17 territory on occasion. Most days that requires alcohol because I am simultaneously raunchy and a prude. Yes, it’s possible. Anyway, sometimes I also like Puckleberry and St. Berry, and I totally ship Quinndependence. I used to like Will, but now he’s obnoxious. I wish Emma would find someone better. Again. Come back, Doctor Carl!
I also post stuff other than fic. Like I talk about myself a lot. I play the autoharp and sing, I knit sometimes, I have three cats, I like food. And I really love stupid jokes. Puns, oh, God, the puns. I love puns so much.
Besides Glee I also like Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sherlock, Coupling, Being Human, So You Think You Can Dance, and I enjoy Harry Potter. My top five movies are Amelie, The Brothers Bloom, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Clue, and Real Genius. I like tons of music. I read so very very much. “The World According To Garp” has been my favorite book since I was twelve. My mother says that explains a lot.
My deep dark secret is that I happily pay full price to see the Twilight movies in the theaters because mocking them to my TV is simply not the same experience at all. My best snark comes from being surrounded by Bellaheads. It’s so much fun.
Also I like cheese.
